I love today’s tip about getting out in nature. I am moving, the sun ( most days) is energizing me, I can do a walking meditation , and all of this while being in nature. Four steps right there. Love it!

Meditation not mediation

Checking in and music/movement for the win!

Hi there everyone! How's week 2, afternoon habit building, going for you?

Thanks to all who have been sharing and no pressure for others to share if you prefer not to. :) Just letting you know that I love hearing about your experiences and am here supporting and listening anytime you want to share.

I also wanted to share that I personally experienced a major shift in mood yesterday afternoon. My morning started off meh ... the previous day's events seems to cause a cascade of emotions. The morning practice helped to bring me closer to neutrality, but I wasn't necessarily feeling upbeat and happy, per se.

I had to create a recipe yesterday afternoon and my instinct was to listen to a fave song that I haven't heard in months while creating the recipe. Listening naturally turned into singing, which led to dancing while cooking and, wow — it was…

What was the song? I'm always looking for more dance party/feel good inspo!

Today’s step, music, is perfect. Whether we are in our cars, working around the house, at the fitness center,we all have access to music AND, whether we need to calm or feel energized, there’s always the perfect music out there. Thank you Nichole, and thank you for that beautiful piano, chirping bird piece. So relaxing.

Thanks for sharing, Bobbie. Agreed, music is universal and accessible in many ways! My intention when I sampled that piano chirping bird piece was to listen to it for a minute, but it stayed on as my background for much longer than that because of the calm feeling it gave me. Music can be pretty magical like that. :)

I enjoyed a delicious ginger tea yesterday. It was extra hot and encouraged me to slow down and sip. Thanks, Nichole!

Ginger tea sounds so warm and soothing, Amber! Love that it encouraged you to slow down and sip. It's those moments that get seeded into our being, helping us to be more present at that moment and other areas of our lives. Thank you for sharing, Amber. 🤗
